Bal Harbour

Welcome to Bal Harbour

A luxury designer oasis off the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Bal Harbour, an intimate community established in 1946, is located on the northern tip of the barrier island known as Miami Beach. Enveloped by the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, 96th Street and Haulover Inlet, this compact village fits neatly within one square mile. Nevertheless, within a few feet, residences and guests can enjoy some of the most alluring or winning (prodigious is a negative adjective) restaurants, storefronts and real estate in the country. Its landmark, Bal Harbour Shops, is its pendant of charm, featuring an array of couture fashion labels, decadent dining options and one-of-a-kind events. Situated just off the azure waters, residents can enjoy some of the most exceptional shops in the world and then fleet to the beach, where one of the most stunningly beautiful slivers of sand stands.

A quiet community with a top-notch, award winning police department, mayor and village council, Bal Harbour experiences a low crime rate offering the ideal atmosphere for children. Well maintained infrastructure and manicured grounds prove that this community is a “dream village” and celebrates the “good life.”

An abundance of public and private schools are located near Bay Harbor Islands to the west, Surfside to the south and minutes from Miami Beach including Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, Lehrman Community Day School, Miami Country Day School, Cushman School, David Lawrence Jr. K-8 Center, North Beach Elementary School and North Miami Beach Senior High School. Downtown Miami, South Beach, Aventura and Fort Lauderdale are conveniently located 20 minutes away without taking the freeway. Miami International Airport, Port of Miami, Port of Everglades and Virgin MiamiCentral are positioned within a brief driving distance, making traveling easy and accessible.

Real Estate Oasis

Recline and relax in utmost tranquility inside the elite condominiums in Bal Harbour. Allowing residents the option of oceanfront high-rise condominiums, single-family mansions or midcentury modern properties, Bal Harbour has something for everyone’s liking, including a one of a kind ultra-posh outdoor mall, that is said to be the nations highest grossing mall per square foot.

Many of the oceanfront condos are home to the “Who’s Who” of South Florida. Most of the properties such as the Bellini, Bal Harbour Tower, The Ritz Carlton, the “101” and The St. Regis, to name a few, offer five-star amenitized living and expansive living spaces with sun-soaked views of the Atlantic Ocean. Oceana Bal Harbour, one of the most palatial structures in the area, is a condominium paradise, complete with flow-through residences and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. Once home to the prodigious Bal Harbour Club, this undulating high-rise has since been transformed into a building lapped with luxury and refined design.

It is the permanent home to two of Jeff Koons original sculptures, including Pluto and Proserpina and Seated Ballerina, situtated in the building’s 60-foot-tall outdoor breezeway. The 22ft high vaulted lobby, designed Italian designer Pierro Lissoni, houses 10 addition pieces from artists around the world such as Jorge Mendez Blake, Juan Usle, Callum Innes, Garth Weiser, An Te Liu and Taryn Simon.

Across the street from Oceana Bal Harbour, is the private, and historic guard gated single family home community of The Village of Bal Harbour. There are 175 homes situated inside the community, each drawing on their own personal style from mid-century modern architecture to Mediterranean Revival traditional homes and new construction properties by internationally renowned designers. What once was a prisoner of war camp in the 1940’s, this prestigious and planned neighborhood offers homes priced from 2 million dollars to upwards of $35 million, all with private streets, large open spaces, a children park, and a private marina which allows for dockage of beautiful vessels as it has access to Haulover Inlet, which is one of two inlets in Miami Beach where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Intracoastal Waterway. It is both a peaceful and exclusive enclave which is truly a neighborhood, where kids go out and play, and the neighbors are like family. It is steps to the beach and both upscale shops at the Mall and local area retail in the adjacent town of Surfside. One of the truer walkable neighborhoods in South Florida.

Bal Harbour Shops

An enchanted garden decorated with couture labels, calm koi ponds and retro restaurants with bold and colorful gastronomy, Bal Harbour Shops is the pinnacle of luxury.
